FAITH IN ACTION SUMMER CAMP
Tuesday- Friday mornings, August 12th- 15th, 2025
...for children and youth grades kindergarten through high school focused on service and volunteering in the community
A shared ministry of St. James Lutheran Church in Lake Forest and Grace United Methodist Church in Lake Bluff
Our aim is to inspire a lifelong dedication and enthusiasm for volunteering. Friends are welcome!
New this year - a complimentary “drop-in” for parents/caregivers of babies and toddlers Wednesday, August 13 from 9:00-10:30 am.

Registration details:
The registration deadline is MAY 31, 2025 (which allows us to prepare volunteer projects and staffing)
Fee is $30.00/per person for four mornings
All participants are eligible for service credit hours.
Camp will be held from 9:00 am until noon Tuesday through Friday at:
St. James Lutheran Church
1380 N Waukegan Road
Lake Forest, IL 60045
Camp Goals by age:
Students in grades K-5 Discover the meaning of service through age-appropriate activities that involve faith-building, creative tasks, cooking, and active participation.
Students in grades 6-8 Focus on service opportunities that address issues such as lack of food, unstable housing, and unequal education locally and globally.
High school students Serve as mentors to the younger students, learn leadership skills and participate in community service and volunteerism.
