Faith in Action Summer Camp

…a camp for children and youth in grades kindergarten through high school to volunteer in the community
A shared ministry of St. James Lutheran Church in Lake Forest and Grace United Methodist Church in Lake Bluff
Be a part of a week-long program that focuses on serving others. Our aim is to inspire a lifelong dedication and enthusiasm for volunteering.

Registration details:
The registration deadline is MAY 31, 2025.
Fee is $25.00/per person for the week
All participants are eligible for service credit hours
Camp will be held from 9:00 am until noon Tueday through Friday at:
St. James Lutheran Church
1380 N Waukegan Road
Lake Forest, IL 60045
Camp Goals by age:
Students in grades K-5 Discover the meaning of service through age-appropriate activities that involve faith-building, creative tasks, cooking and active participation.
Students in grades 6-8 Focus on service opportunities that address issues such as lack of food, unstable housing, and unequal education locally and globally.
High school students Serve as mentors to the younger students, learning leadership skills and participating in community service and volunteerism.
Scholarships are available.
